Man I have been so slack on keeping everyone up to date. We have no internet at the house and its just plain FRUSTERATING… Speaking of which, time to call Comcast again…

Miss Lisa has made huge strides here lately. She is now fully daytime potty trained. So yay for that. Still working on the night stuff… She is a little Pete and Repeat about EVERYTHING. She likes to do everything that Mommy or Daddy does… She helped me sweep the house the other day… Yeah read that as I had to sweep twice as much twice as fast. She thought it was helpful to swoosh the dirt pile around, MAN I love kids! She also helped me back a cake last night. It was a white cake (her choice) and she decided we should add some color, so she chose green. Yeah, so the cake and cupcakes that we made look like a leprechaun puked. But shes all excited about “her” cakes. Gotta love kids.

For those of you who don’t know my best friend from high school, Jody, her husband Will, passed away on April 16th. They were married for almost 9 years.

So I just wanted to ask all my friends and family to say a little prayer for Jody and her two beautiful daughters (Kaleigh, 6 and Madison, 5), that they can keep their heads up, be strong, and know that they are loved in this trying time.

Time to do some updating… Lord it has been TOOOO long… This one is for Jody (although I told ya all this last night…)

House- We are in the house finally, still got some issues to work out but we are in. Our old house is half gone, and the other half should go away today, at least it was moved to the point were it could be moved out today even if it rained (which it did last night). I will put up more pictures when I get the chance to take some new good ones.

Lisa- We are full swing into potty training… Not going quite so well, but its because someone has decided to be lazy and be like, oh mom and dad will take care of this I don’t have to do anything. Ha, I don’t think so. But Jody gave me some great ideas last night, that we are going to try and practice this weekend, see what happens.

She is growing like a little weed. Pants and shoes shrink every day! She is quite a little mimic. She can say just about anything she hears. Then the questions come… Where sun? Where Daddy? Where Gracie go? What’s that? What’s this? Need I go on… She loves to read, and draw. Color, Mommy, Color, ‘mon mommy color!!! she demands on a regular basis…

She adjusted well to the move up the hill though. Only real hurdle is the bathtub, that she absolutely HATES now. You would think we were trying to cut her legs off the way she screams… So we are going to try and work on that this weekend as well.

Me- Well my job has gotten a little stressful. I have added duties right now that make things a bit crazy, but I get over time for working on them, so at least there is a bit of light at the end of the tunnel. Now if I could just find a bit of light in my office… all these stacks of papers are making it hard for the light to get in.

Also I got accepted into the Graduate Program at UT. So I am now going for my Masters in Science Education. I will take my first Grad class this summer. Kinda Scary!

Ok so yeah, I think thats about it…

Well I spent the weekend painting Lisa’s room in the new house. Friday I painted it pink. Then on Saturday my co-worker Judith came and helped me stencil and paint flowers on the wall. Then today I finished the flowers and stenciled and painted some butterflies. Tomorrow night I will add a border at about chair rail height. The colors and flowers and such came off a rug that Lisa picked out herself at Lowes over two months ago. Here are some pictures

We have electricity at the house! YAY. If it wasn’t supposed to snow tomorrow we would probably get water and foundation work, but that might have to wait till Thursday. But its looking good. The inside is amazing!
